The multiple award-winning double bassist Caris Hermes presents her own pieces for the first time on the new production, which will be released on vinyl and CD in the fall on the Cologne label JazzJazz Records. Her trio with Billy Test on piano and Niklas Walter on drums is unceremoniously expanded to a quintet by guests such as Paul Heller and Andy Haderer and once again stands for the development of the established sidewoman into a stylistically confident bandleader.
